High School Counselors
High school counselors at Springdale Public Schools are trained to support and assist students with their academic, personal, and social development in a high school setting. Our counselors help young people navigate the challenges of student life, promote social and emotional well-being, and equip them with the skills and knowledge necessary for future success in college and career.
Some of the roles of a high school counselor include:
Providing individual and group counseling to help students with personal, emotional, and social issues
Developing and implementing school-wide programs that promote student success and well-being
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and personal growth
Assisting students with college and career planning, including college applications and job search strategies
