Low-Cost Legal Help Unbundled Services

If you can’t afford full-priced legal assistance, you may want to consider hiring an attorney who offers “unbundled services” also known as “a la carte legal services”. Attorneys who offer this type of service generally charge a reduced fee. In exchange, you agree that they will only handle part of your case and you will be responsible for the rest of your case.

University of Arkansas School of Law Legal Clinics

Please call for available services, it varies each semester. Clinic services are free; there is no fee for services. However, clients are responsible for any filing fees, court costs, and other out of pocket expenses such as mailing.

4th District Prosecutor’s Office Victim Assistance Program

Information/education about the criminal justice system, referrals to community helping agencies, support at every stage in the criminal court process, liaison between victims and prosecutors, notification of court dates, escort to hearings/trials, and advocacy on behalf of victims with employers, landlords, law enforcement, the judicial system and other service providers.

This packet will help everyone create a Family Preparedness Plan, regardless of immigration status. However, because of the additional challenges immigrant and mixed status families face, there is also additional advice for immigrants.

The Immigration Law Clinic provides free legal services to individuals with immigration-related legal issues. Clients of the Clinic are represented by a team of one to two law students with specialized training and an experienced immigration attorney.
