Work Based Learning (WBL)

Students interested in work-based learning during the school day should complete the Student Interest Form.

A WBL instructor will contact the student.

WBL Eligibility:

  • On track to graduate with credits

  • Age 16+

  • Driver's license

  • Reliable transportation to work

The instructor will guide the student including resume preparation, completing an application, interview support, and understanding employment documents.

WBL Students will:

  • Have a business mentor on the job

  • Check-in weekly with the WBL instructor

  • Earn a one credit per 120 hours of work

  • Maintain a work portfolio
