Over a third of the Springdale School District students in grades 7-12 participate in athletics!

There are 164 teams in 22 sports for male and female athletes to choose from. Springdale High School and Springdale Har-Ber High School compete in the 7A West in football and the 6A West in every other sport.

It all begins in seventh grade at all four of the district’s middle schools. In fact, Springdale was the first district in Northwest Arkansas to introduce seventh grade athletics. Central, Southwest, Lakeside and George Junior Highs are very competitive in all sports. Central has won several conference football titles in a row and Southwest won its conference and region in volleyball this past year.

The facilities are outstanding. In fact, Springdale High has the only track of its kind in the state and Har-Ber’s track is first class as well. Both high schools have newly constructed facilities for baseball and softball and deluxe football stadiums
