The Arkansas Association of Educational Administrators announced Superintendent Dr. Jared Cleveland was elected as the 2025-26 AAEA Board Secretary/Treasurer.
“I am deeply honored and humbled to have been elected by my peers across the state as the Secretary-Treasurer of the Arkansas Association of Educational Administrators,” Cleveland said. “This opportunity to serve our educational community is a privilege I do not take lightly, and I am grateful for the trust my colleagues have placed in me.”
The Springdale Public Schools superintendent expressed his sincere appreciation to the Springdale School Board, the district administrative team and all of Springdale Schools’ dedicated staff.
“Your unwavering support has made this opportunity possible, and it is because of your collaboration and commitment to excellence in education that I am able to take on this important role at the state level,” Cleveland said.
Cleveland said he’s experienced how important it is to have strong leadership and how collaboration drives success for Springdale students as district superintendent.
“I look forward to bringing that same spirit to the AAEA and working alongside fellow leaders to continue improving education across Arkansas,” Cleveland said. “Together, we will build on our shared vision and ensure all students have the opportunity to thrive.”
Cleveland begins his role as the AAEA Board Secretary/Treasurer July 1, according to an association announcement.
“Thank you again for your support and for empowering me to serve in this capacity,” Cleveland said.
