Audra Cissy Lindley has been named as the Administrative Instructional Specialist Lead for Springdale Public Schools.
“I am so excited for this opportunity and want to thank Dr. Cleveland, the School Board and the curriculum and instruction administration team,” Lindley said. “I am a passionate instructional leader who believes in collective genius and learning through collaboration. I want to support teaching and learning and build systems that support collective teacher efficacy."
Lindley previously served as the principal of Southwest Junior High School and will be responsible for leading the district’s instructional specialists beginning July 1.
She has 28 years of experience in education and has supported teachers as an instructional facilitator and building administrator for the past 10 years.
“I started my career as an English teacher working with all grade levels,” she said. “I love to work in collaboration with other educators, growing our instructional practices and bringing literacy instruction to all classrooms.”
Lindley will work with district instructional specialists to provide coordinated district and building support as the Administrative Instructional Specialist Lead.
Dr. Jared Cleveland, Springdale Public Schools superintendent, expressed confidence in Lindley.
“Mrs. Lindley is a premier curriculum specialist with a richly diverse instructional background that has uniquely equipped her to make significant improvement rapidly,” he said.
