DTSOI & VIA teachers and students partner to serve our Phoenix Fledgling (K - 5 learners)
From Kinder teacher Kyla Simpson:
“I was searching for Spanish lessons for my daughter and then realized what a benefit it would be for our [VIA] students. So, I contacted Mr. Gonzalez to collaborate on ways to connect his DTSOI Spanish class with our VIA students. We discussed his students creating read aloud in both languages and partnering with us to do collaborative lessons with both of our students. The Spanish class was able to come down today and pick out stories that they want to work on videoing.”

Springdale School District will be practicing remote learning on October 16th and 19th. Students will not report to DTSOI campus. See soi.sdale.org for more remote learning information.
Picture day for Face to Face and Blended students will be held October 8th and 9th. Virtual students will have a separate picture day in November.
DTSOI PTSA will hold their first meeting Tuesday October 6th at 6:00 p.m. All are welcome to join!
