Hear what the Har-Ber community has to say about the incredible influence Ms. Garcia has every day. 💙🐾
"I want to nominate this teacher as Teacher of the Year because of their unwavering dedication, inspiring teaching methods, and the genuine care they show for every student. They go above and beyond to create a positive learning environment where all students feel valued and motivated to succeed."
"I would like to nominate Sabrina Garcia for HBHS Teacher of the Year because of the meaningful impact she has on students and the positive atmosphere she helps create in our school. She consistently builds strong relationships with students, offering support and encouragement that makes a real difference in their day-to-day experience.
She is a strong advocate for her students, always looking out for their best interests and making sure they feel heard and valued. Her approachable and supportive nature helps students feel comfortable and motivated, both in and out of the classroom.
She also contributes to a positive school culture by going beyond the classroom to support students—often taking extra steps to advocate for them when challenges arise. Whether it's checking in individually, collaborating with staff to ensure students' needs are met, or simply being a consistent, caring presence, she helps create a welcoming environment where students feel supported and empowered.
Her commitment to students and the school community makes her a great candidate for this recognition."
"I want to nominate her because no matter what needs to be done, even if it’s not math related, and even if it’s not work related, if anyone needs anything, she is always there to jump in and help. She also has a big heart and drive for these kids. She wants everyone to feel represented and make everyone feel welcome. She turned her classroom into a home where everyone feels like family. She’s such a blessing to harber. I am blessed to be able to work with her. She absolutely deserves this award."
"Because she provide individualized support, she helped us build our confidence and to achieve our goals."
"This teacher has been a huge help to me throughout my sophmore and junior year. She inspires me to be the better version of myself."

Last Friday, our Asian Club students performed a traditional Dragon and Lion dances at BYE, bringing the vibrant energy of Chinese culture to the young audience. The band members also played a festive Chinese New Year overture, creating a lively atmosphere.
In addition to the performances, the club students designed and organized several fun and interactive games for more than 80 fourth graders. These activities not only entertained the kids but also allowed our high schoolers to showcase their leadership, organizational, and hands-on skills.
This event was a wonderful demonstration of the Asian Club's dedication to cultural exchange. leadership and community service, making it a highly successful and memorable experience for both the high school and elementary school students.

Check out this fun way to support the Springdale Public Schools Education Foundation!

Will your student be a 10th grader at Har-Ber next year? If so, please join us tonight!
