A few Shaw EAST students had the opportunity to visit The Bungalows on Thursday and show residents what they have been learning about. The Bungalows is an assisted living facility in Springdale and is home to some sweet, always ready-to-learn, senior citizens.
Crocheting and Technology were the topics of the day. iPads and Dash robots were demonstrated and then passed out to residents so they could give then a try. Our experts, Asher and Lily, answered questions, showed apps and helped everyone. Sadie brought her crocheting basket and worked right alongside our new friends at The Bungalows.
This was a such a great time for our students and the residents at The Bungalows. We hope it was not our last visit and will become a regular part of our EAST program.
