PTA is sponsoring a one-day candy bar sale tomorrow. Candy is $1.00 and is limited to ONE bar per student. Tomorrow is also Spirit Day so break out your Harp Hawk colors and show your school spirit. Go Hawks!
FREE AND REDUCED INFORMATION - DID YOU KNOW????
The District is posting fliers on our Facebook page about the benefits of filling out free and reduced lunch applications. We noticed that the recent flyer they posted doesn't include the fact that we have a SCHOOL NURSE and also a great RESOURCE OFFICER thanks in part to money gotten through free and reduced status.
Please consider filling out an application (one per family) if there is any possibility of qualifying for free or reduced meals at Harp. Thanks!

TECHNOLOGY CHECK! Tonight all students (K-5) will bring home their computer. Please go to www.harp.sdale.org and click on the picture that says "Chromebook." This will allow us to make sure that your device is able to reach the internet from your home. Students must bring their computer back to Harp tomorrow for use at school. Thank you.
Reminder: The doors at Harp open at 7:30. Students are tardy at 7:45. After 7:45, students are checked in at the office through the front door. There is an online check-in system this year. If you have a car tag, the QR code is on the back...if not we have a QR code on the door.
NOTE: Our marquee has not been updating for several days. Please know the sign folks from Little Rock and our district team are trying to figure out how to fix it. In the mean time, be sure to continue to check out Facebook and the school website for information.

WOW!
It was so great to see all our little Hawks back with us today. We have new expectations, new procedures, and new staff. On top of that, we have the required wearing of masks. And guess what....your kids did an amazing job today!! The students were calm, happy, and did everything we asked of them with a smile (the best we could tell). We are very proud of our kids, and of the support we've gotten from you at home. We're off to a great start at Harp Elementary School.
CAR RIDER'S OFF TO A SLOW START -
We began using a new system today....plus, we had a number of parents without car tags and/or needed to add information. This causes us to have a long wait times on this first day. Tomorrow will be much faster, we promise:-) Thank you for all the friendly and understanding comments we heard from most of you guys. It is much appreciated!

Seating ready to go in the cafeteria. 6 feet apart....we can seat exactly 80 Harp Hawks! K-2 will be eating in the cafeteria with the staff bringing their trays to them while seated. 3-5 will be eating (safely distanced) in their classroom. Staff will be delivering their lunch to the room.
