Today we celebrated the outstanding careers of six members of the Wildcat Family who will retire at the end of the school year. Each of these educators has made a tremendous impact in the lives of our students. We will miss Coach Taylor, Mrs. Delozier, Mrs. Fine, Coach Aynes, Mrs. Rainey, and Mrs. Cline. Congratulations on a job well done! Thank you for being a blessing to our school!

Congratulations to Mrs. Jingshu Chen for being named the 2022 Har-Ber High School Teacher of the Year! Mrs. Chen is an outstanding teacher who provides outstanding instruction and has a heart for students. We are blessed to have Mrs. Chen as a member of the Wildcat Family. Congratulations!

Class of 2022 and Families, As we prepare for Commencement Exercises this weekend, please review the information provided by the University of Arkansas. It contains a list of prohibited items and where guests may park.

Parents and HBHS Class of 2022, Please review the information below. It is important that you understand the expectations for graduates next week. Thursday May 19th Graduation Practice 8:00 am in Wildcat Arena This is a dress rehearsal, all students must wear their cap and gown and follow the dress code for graduation. Participation is required if the graduate wishes to walk in the graduation ceremony on May 21st. Senior Celebration 10:30 am in Wildcat Arena This a formal event that will occur immediately after graduation practice. All graduates will remain in the arena for the program after the graduation practice. All family members are invited to attend, however they will not be allowed into the arena until 10:15 am. Senior Send-off Picnic 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm West side of campus Celebratory event for seniors and family. Students will be allowed to change and attend the picnic. The planned events include Yearbook distribution (for seniors who purchased them), free food, prize giveaways (200 prizes, gift cards, laptops and other items), music/karaoke, and other games. Saturday May 21st Graduation 12:00 pm Bud Walton Arena, U of A Campus Graduates arrive no later than 11:00 am and follow the expected dress code.

Congratulations to the Har-Ber FFA Team as they competed in the National Land and Range competition in Oklahoma CIty this week. Zeke Stevens, Jennifer Coston, Daxton Peachee, and Austin Mayhew placed 2nd in the Arkansas FFA state contest to earn the right to compete at nationals. Students learned skills on how to evaluate land for proper agricultural use, soil conservation, and to promote natural resource management. Over 850 students on 188 teams representing 34 states competed in the competition. The Har-Ber team had an outstanding 12th place finish as a team and our top individual was Zeke Stevens as the #33 placing in the nation. These students worked hard and endured difficult weather conditions while they were competing! Go Cats!
